How to add attachments to my messages?

With GetResponse, you can easily add files to your messages. Whether you prefer attaching files the traditional way or uploading and linking

to them for easier sharing, this guide will explain both methods to help you share files quickly and efficiently.

How to attach files to your message

Currently, this option is only available for newsletters.

To attach a file to your message:

  1. Access the message you want to attach a file to and scroll down to Design and content.
  2. Click on the Attach file option.

The image shows where you can attach a file to your message.
  3. A Files and images screen will be displayed. You can choose one of the previously uploaded files or use the Add files option to upload a new file from your computer.

The image shows how you can add or choose a file to attach to your message.
  4. After adding the attachment, its name will be visible in the Design and content section on the newsletter settings page. You can also detach the file using the Remove attachment option.

The image shows where you can see the attached file and remove it.

You can upload files up to 500KB using this method.

Currently, you can add a maximum of one file.

Another way to add an ebook (or any attachment) is to use direct links. To create those links, you’ll be using your Files and images section.

  1. Go to Profile > Files and images.

  2. Click Add files.

  3. Drag your file, select it from the computer, or import it from URL.
  4. Choose to which folder the file should be added.

  5. Click Add.
  6. Hover your mouse over the 3 dots (vertical ellipsis) at the bottom of the file and click Copy URL.

When you have your file uploaded and URL

copied, you can proceed with adding this link to your message. You can hyperlink it to your button or part of the text, to do so:

  1. In the message editor drag and drop the Button element.

  2. A menu will appear on the right side when you place or click on your button. Choose the Web address link type and paste your copied file link in the URL section. In this menu, you will also be able to adjust button text, color, style, and more.

To hyperlink a part of the text:

  1. Highlight a word or part of your text and click the Chain icon on the top bar.

  2. Choose the Web address link type and paste your copied file link in the URL section.
