How to add a sending domain in your MAX account? MAX
A sending domain or subdomain is used to set up your server, which will host your user panel and sending infrastructure.
In order to add it to your account:
- Go to Profile > Emails and domains > Sending domains
- Click Add sending domain
- Provide the name of the subdomain or domain you’ve created and click Save. Use the format subdomain.example.com for subdomains and example.com for domains.
- Copy the provided nameservers and follow the instructions. This step needs to be completed in the DNS panel of your domain. Both NS records need to be added.
Some domain providers do not allow updating the subdomain’s NS records manually. Please contact their support if you encounter this issue.
The status of the added domain will show Awaiting DNS records.
The changes may take up to 48 hours to take effect. As soon as we verify that the records have been added correctly, your domain’s status in the Sending domains tab will change to Active.
We’ll also notify you via email to confirm we can proceed with your account setup. The setup takes up to 2 working days and you will be notified by email once it has been completed.
If the records are at any point removed or modified, the status will change to DNS records removed.
Every subaccount can have a separate domain assigned. To see which accounts are assigned to a given domain, click on Show assigned accounts.
If you’d like to view the name servers again, go to the three dots on the right and click on View DNS Records.
