How to add GetResponse Webinars to participants’ calendars?

When you create a webinar with required registration, after each contact registers, they will receive a “Registration Confirmation” email. This message will include an .ics file containing the event to be added to the calendar.

After opening the file, each contact can add it to their calendar. Once the event is added to the calendar, it will be visible in the user’s calendar. The same .ics webinar file is sent along with the webinar reminders, so if you decide to use our reminders, your contacts will have another opportunity to add the event to their calendars.

In summary, for webinars with required registration, event files that can be added to your calendar are generated and sent automatically. However, if you would like to send a calendar file to your contacts for webinars without a required subscription or in any message (newsletter, automation), you will have to generate the webinar link or .ics file by hand and attach it to the message. Here are the possible options:

In the case of Google, create an event in Google Calendar. Once you make it public and publish it, you will be able to include a link to it as a hyperlink, e.g. in a button in a message.

For other calendars, you will need to create an .ics file for the event, host it, and create a link to it that you can connect to a button in a message.
