How to assign directories to my landing pages?
If your domain or subdomain is linked with a website or landing page in GetResponse, you can additionally use domain directories. You can have as many directories as you need.
You can use domains and directories when:
- You want your domain name to appear in the landing page URL.
- You’d like to publish multiple landing pages.
- You don’t have a pre-existing website at your domain (unless it is a GetResponse one).
You can use subdomains and directories when:
- You want your domain name to appear in the landing page URL.
- You’d like to quickly publish multiple landing pages.
- You have a pre-existing non-GetResponse website at your domain.
- You’d like to use the subdomains to organize your product sales according to seasons, markets, or other categories that fit your business needs.
Example
You own a domain getresponse.com. You’re running a sale on three of your products, and you want a dedicated landing page for each of the products. You need to:
- Assign your domain to your landing page or website.
- Create a directory for each of the landing pages featuring your products.
In this case, the landing page URL for each product contains the domain name and the directory:
- getresponse.com/product1
- getresponse.com/product2
- getresponse.com/product3
