How to automatically authenticate your domain in GetResponse?

After adding your email address as a from email to GetResponse you need to authenticate it by adding a DKIM key and DMARC record. It can be done manually on your domain provider’s end but GetResponse can also authenticate the domain for you automatically. If you choose automatic setup on our side, GetResponse will:

  • assign a custom DKIM key
  • add DMARC policy set to p=none (if correct DMARC policy doesn’t exist yet)
  • add SPF text record

Before you begin:

  1. Check if your provider is on the list of supported providers.
  2. Accept that the automated process may not work for different reasons. In some cases, you may be asked by the system or our Customer Support team to create records manually.

Authentication process

  1. Add and verify the from email address in Profile > Emails and domains.
Here you can find more information about this process.
  2. Beside your domain in the Actions column, click Authenticate.

  5. Our integration with Entri will now detect your domain provider and if it is supported, you will be asked to log in to it.

  6. You may need to confirm that you want to create the records.
Note: this step may look different depending on the provider.
  7. If the process is successful, you will see a confirmation screen saying “Domain authenticated”.
