How to enable email subscriptions for my course?

You can enable email subscriptions for your course, so when students enroll in it, they will be added to your contact list in GetResponse.

To enable subscriptions:

  1. Go to Tools > Courses.


  2. Hover over three vertical dots next to your course and click Settings.


  3. Scroll down to the Email subscription tab.

You can choose to add all enrolling students or only students who check an opt-in box at enrollment. If you choose the second option, you will be able to create a disclaimer about your Privacy policy, and you can add a consent field that you created in your account.



If you choose to add all enrolling students, you will also have the option to add consent fields or policy consent statements.

Please note that you need to comply with applicable data protection regulations. For example, the GDPR applies if:

  • your company processes personal data and is based in the EU, regardless of where the actual data processing takes place
  • your company is established outside the EU but processes personal data in relation to the offering of goods or services to individuals in the EU, or monitors the behaviour of individuals within the EU.

We provide you with the option to enable consent fields and edit their content to help you comply with some regulations. 4. Choose which list you would like to add your students to. You can add them to a new list that will be automatically created for you or to an existing list. Remember to add them to the autoresponder cycle if you would like to send them your autoresponder sequence.
