How to find contacts based on their webinar activity?

If you’d like to find contacts based on their webinar activity, you can find them using the Advanced search conditions on the Search contacts page. You can narrow down your search to specific conditions:

  • those who registered (before the event)
  • those who registered, but did not participate
  • those who participated

You can find these contacts by using one of the methods described below.

For a webinar-related search to work, the registration in webinar settings must be turned ON.

To find contacts based on their webinar activity:

  1. Go to Contacts >> Search.
  2. On the Search contacts page, click Advanced search. This will open your advanced search options.



  3. In the Advanced search options, you can click on All current and future lists to expand the list options. Then, select the list you want to search in. You can also ignore it to search in all lists.



  4. Click Add condition.



  5. From the dropdown menu select the search you are interested in.
    • To view registrants for your webinar:
      Contact actions > Webinars > Participated > Name of your webinar > Registrant



    • To view contacts who registered, but did not participate, select two condtions:
      Contact actions > Webinars > Participated > Name of your webinar > Registrant
      Contact actions > Webinars > Not participated > Name of your webinar > Attendee



    • To view contacts who participated:
      Contact actions > Webinars > Participated > Name of your webinar > Attendee



  6. Hit Apply after selecting conditions. You can also click Save as segment to use the search later or select the segment when selecting newsletter recipients and send a newsletter specifically to those contacts.

You can mix these search conditions with different ones based on your needs.
