How to install GetResponse forms on WordPress?

If you created a pop-up or an embedded form in our editor, you can install it on your WordPress site. This article explains how to do it with a little help of our WordPress plugin.

Note that the plugin is always used for importing contacts or products, and it can also be used to install a form on WordPress. However, it cannot be used solely for form installation. If you don’t want to use the plugin, check our universal article for popup or embedded form.

Before you begin

Make sure you have our WordPress plugin installed and Web Connect enabled in its settings.

How to install a popup form on WordPress

  1. Go to Forms and popups.
  2. Hover over the action menu on the right side of your popup and click Settings.

  3. Enter your website’s URL.

  4. Click Save and publish or Update at the bottom of the page.
  5. Go to Integrations and API > WordPress.
  6. Hover over the action menu on the right side of your site name and click Edit.
  7. Scroll down to the Plugin settings section and make sure GetResponse Web Connect is enabled. If it isn’t, enable it, and proceed to the next step as per the integration instructions.

You only need to add the Web Connect code once – either manually or through integration. This allows you to create multiple popups and embedded forms. However, embedded forms also require an additional embed code – more details on that below.

How to install an embedded form on WordPress

To embed a form on a WordPress page, follow all the steps outlined in the popup section above and then additionally:

  1. Go to Forms and popups.
  2. Hover over the action menu on the right side of your popup and click Settings.
  3. Scroll down to the Embedded form code section and click Copy to clipboard.

  4. Go to your WordPress account and add the form code to the body of your page.

There are multiple ways to add a form code to your WordPress page, some require basic programming skills. Since those methods depend on your specific WordPress account and settings, we do not provide support for them.
