How wide should my message be? Video
By default, all our templates have a width of 600px. We recommend staying with that width, as this is the most common message width that is also displayed best on a variety of email clients. Creating messages wider than that can introduce unwanted scrollbars for some email clients. If you’re sure you need a different width of a message, make sure to test it on as many email clients as you can before you send it to your customers.
In the new message editor, you can change the width of your newsletters from 480px to 1200px.
If you want to change the width, in the message editor:
- Navigate to Message Style.
- Click + or – to change the value of the message width or type in your size. If you provide value after a decimal point, it will be rounded up or down depending on the value.
